Good morning and praise the Lord. He is worthy of all our praise. I was reading Mark 10:46-52 this morning and as I was reading the Holy Spirit just made verse 50 jump out at me."And he,casting away his garmet, rose and came to Jesus. How many of us try to come to Jesus to ask something from him and are not willing to throw off the old before we come to Him. This man was a begger sitting by the roadside he had been sitting there for a long time begging. On this paticular day something good was about to come his way. You and are always asking Jesus to do something for us but many times we ask without really wanting to let go of the past. Blind Bartimaeus heard the crowd coming his way but today there was different atmosphere in the air. The crowd is excited because Jesus is leading them and talking with them. The blind man heres them say Jesus He began to cry out "thou son of David have mercy on me. Some tried get him to be quitebut he just got that much louder. He wanted something from Jesus. He wanted to get Jesus attention. In verse 49 we are told Jesusstopped and called for him. At that moment the blind man made a decision that he would cast off the old and go before Jesus to get what he sought after. Listen to the words of Jesus in verse 51"And Jesu answered and said unto him. WHAT WILT THOU THAT I SHOULD DO UNTO THEE? He said that I might receive my sight. jesus said go thy way thy faith hath made thee whole. Why did the blind man throw off the old garmet? I believe he got rid of it so he would not be reminded that he was a begger he wanted to start out new and fresh. The word says immediatly he received his sight, notice what else he did he left the old and picked up the new and followed after Jesus, he did not go back and pick up the old outer garmet to put back on. He left the past to follow the new. How many of us can truly look at Jesus and say that we have put the past behind us and follow the master with and free and pure heart.I also beleive that the blind man received more than just his physical sight he received a new spiritual sight if he had not he would have just taken his miracle and walked away as so many had done but instead he left the past and followed the new. The word says you and I are new creations in Christ so if we are we need to let the past go and follow the new life we have in Christ. I know as I read this scripture this morning Holy Spirit just started revealing to me what I was still holding unto and would not let go of. I want all that the Father has prividedc for me and if there are things holding that back then I want to get free of them how about you? My prayer is that you will read this text and meditate on it with a desire to have the LORD open our spiritaul eyes. May the Lord Bless you and Keep You Healthy From Pastor Ken

Does He Reign
Good morning and praise the LORD.I just want to take this time to say to all Jesus loves you!!!! I was reading this scripture this morning and started to think upon it and just wanted to share with you what the Holy Spirit was showing me."Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. If you read this scripture you will find its where Jesus appeared to the disciples after his resurrection and Thomas was there this time. If you have ever read the gosples you will remember Jesus had appeared to his disciples and Thomas was not there with them. When they told Thomas he said I'll not believe it unless I see the periced hands and feet and the wounded side. In this passage Jesus is there and Thomas sees for himself, Thomas replies in verse 28 "MY LORD and MY GOD" what a decleration of faith but notice what Jesus says "Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet they believed. Jesus looked down through the portals of time and saw people who would come to believe in the saving grace of God through Him even though we have not seen him. Do you think he was talking about this generation of people of God. We are living in one of most powerful times in the history of man. Do we truly believe in power of the ressurected Christ the one who died and rose again with the victory for life. He's is our King and redeemer he is the one who broke the curse over our lives that we could live a complete and victorious life in Him. I like what Paul says in Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but christ liveth in me:and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,who loved me and gave himself for me. Paul declares that his faith is in the Son of God and all that the Son is. He says the life he's now living in the flesh He's living it for Christ. Thomas believed because He seen, but you and I have never seen yet we believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God. But that belief just can't be superficial it has to be deeply rooted in us till we declare it is not I that lives but the Christ in me lives and regiens. We are called to do the super natural and to let the world see the glory of the LORD upon and shinning out of us to those in darkness. "DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE ONE WHO LIVES IN YOU!!!IN CLOSING LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF JOHN 20:29 FORM THE AMPLIFIED TRANSLATION: "Jesus said to him, Because you have seen ME, Thomas do you now believe(trust have faith)?Blessed and happy and to be envied are those who have never seen ME and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted and relied on ME. The LORD bless you and Keep you Healed and Whole. From Pastor Ken
