Living in the Love of God Part 2

Before I start this morning please accept my apology for the type error on the scripture refrence. The scripture references are in chapter four of 1 John. They are 1John 4:16-18 please forgive me for the mistake.Good morning and praise the Lord this is a glourious morning already may the Father open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there wont be room enough for you to contain it. Lets look at the next verse 1John 4:17"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement:because as he is,so are we in this world. As you and I devote our lives to God and become united to Him through our union and communion with Him the love of God is being perfected in us. This love is being brought to its completion in us. So that in the day of judgement we may have confidence as we face our Lord and stand in front of Him. The latter part of this verse really jumped out at me as I was studing these verses:because as he is,so are we in this world. As He is, we are to walk and talk as Jesus did we are to express the truth and love of God as Jesus did. And where are we to do this? We are to do it right here in this world we live in. How did Jesus walk He walked in confidence toward the Father that caused Him to trust the Father to meet his every need. He lived to express the Father love for man. He showed the Fathers love and compassion for fallen man. He came to present healing and deliverence to fallen man and to show him a way back to the Father that loves Him and cares for Him. This is the way you and I are to walk in this world living the sanctified life before fallen man so that they can truly see the redemptive love of God reaching out to them. The sad part of it is in some cases we are not promoting God we are promoting ourselves. Jesus came promoting the will and desire of the Father to all mankind. We need to truly humble ourselves before the Lord. Listen to the word of the Lord from Matt:18:4"Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. What is Jesus saying to us? Take on the attitude of the little child think for a moment how a little child respondes to us, they trust us,they show us unconditional love, even when in some cases they have been abused by the one they trusted, all that person has to do is ask them to forgive them and they are right there to forgive and get on with life. How many of us can say we have that humble attitude toward our adult relationships? I pray that you and I will truly open up to the true love of God and then begin to show that love to each other.Have a blessed and healthy day in Jesus. From Pastor Ken.

Living in the Love of God

Well praise the Lord everybody and may the blessing of the Lord be upon you.
For the next few days I would like to share some thoughts from 1 John 5:16-18. Lets look at verse 16"And we have known and believed the love God hath to us.God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God,and God in him. As I was reading this verse the thought started filling my soul. What does it mean to dwell in God. I looked up the word dwell in Websters dictionary and these are the definitions it gave for the word dwell.
1.To live in a place 2.To reside 3.To hang on with fondness. 4.To continue.
Lets think about the one that says:To live in a place. The first thing that came to my mind was the the first verse of Psa91" He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Think about it you and I dwell in a place with God through His love for us that the enemy can not penetrate.Listen to this first verse of Psa91 from the amplified translation"He Who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty{Whose power no foe can withstand]. When you and I chooose to follow after the love of God and purpose in our hearts to live in that love we are in a place that satan can't penetrate due to the redemptive work of Jesus our Lord. You and I have been given the greatest opportunity to live in the presence of God.We can truly let the world that is filled with fear and terror see the peace that floods ones soul when he knows in whom he belongs.God is Love. He loves you and I to the point that he sent his only Son to the earth to show us the way to live and walk in that love everyday.Jesus walked this earth in the power and the love of God and you and I have that same ability if we want to surrender unto the Lord. In the first chapter of the gospel of John in verse 12 it says"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that beleive on his name: Do you see yourself as a son of the Most High living in the Fathers love and forgiveness. When you dwell in something you become attached to it you put down roots. You and I are supposed to become attached to God our Father and become rooted and grounded in His love. Walk in the love of God live for him.Make your life a precious symbol of Gods grace to you. God bless you and have healthy life in Jesus. From Pastor Ken.

Thank You

Good morning and praise the Lord. I just wanted to take this morning and say thank you to all of you who read this everyday. My prayer is always that God will give me something that will bless us and make us think about where we are in our walk with the Lord. I also want to say again how much I like reading the comments that you leave. I am just a servent of the most high that wants to see all of Gods people come to know the deep truths of God our Father. The Father loves us and wants us to have the best. When you think about it God gave His best to secure our salvation He sent His Son.
I was just reading psalms 35:27"Let them shout for joy,and be glad, that favour my rightouse cause: yea let them say continually,Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servent. Notice it says That God has pleasure in the properity of his servent. God wants you and I to prosper in all that we do. As I was reading this passage the words "LET THEM SAY CONTINUALLY" just kind of leaped out at me how are we to respond we are to be continually saying Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servent. You and I need to be in a continual praise mode. Look at verse 28" And my tongue shall speak of thy rightuoseness and of thy praise all the day long. Think about this when you and I are praising God all the day long satan wont be able to get through the presence of God to steal our joy. Try this today make a decision to praise the Lord all day speaking and singing praise to the Lord and then look back and see how peaceful your day was.Have a blessed and healthy day in Jesus. Trust Jesus Part 2

Good morning and praise the Lord!!!Just think how wonderful it is to know God the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.Think how wonderful it is that the Father loved us so much that he gave his only Begotten Son For us and that through Jesus he sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us into the things of God and into the great truths of God. Which brings me to the what I believe God has made away for us to walk free from all distractions that come at us. Lets look at distraction number two.TEMPTATION: MANY OF US CHRISTIAN AND NON CHRISTIAN ARE FACED WITH TEMTATION EVERYDAY.Temtation is real it comes in all sizes and shapes and comes in many forms. What ever made a christians think that they would never be tempted after the gave trheir life to Christ. WE are told in 1Cor.10:13" There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." What a promise from God we have away out of the temptation it is through our relationship with Jesus the Son Of God. We live in a time when you can not go any where or even turn the TV on with out being faced with a temptation. But praise God we have the power within us to say no. As you have probly seen buy know I like the amplified translation of the bible as I study with the King James I lay the amplified beside it and read both. Listen to this verse from the amplified bible"For no temtation(no trial regarded as enticing to sin),[no matter how it comes or where it leads]has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man[that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful[to His Word and to His compassionate nature],and He[can be trusted]not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistence and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out(the means of escape to a landing place),that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently. I believe we have the power within us to resist those temtations that come at us. We are the ones who have to step up to the plate and say no when those temptations come. Let me ask you this. Is this not what Jesus did at the hour of his baptismn. After John had baptized him in the Jordan was he not taken immediatly by the spirit into the wilderness where he was temted by the devil with all the things we are tempted with. How did Jesus resist? He spoke the word of God against the devil and his temptations you and I must follow the example of Jesus. Read Luke chapter 4:1-14 for youself and see how Jesus resisted temptation and then decide to follow his example and begin to resist by speaking the Word of God against the temptation. Let me leave you with the words from verse fourteen from the amplified translation"Therefore my dearly beloved, shun(keep clear away from, avoid by flight if need be)any sort of idolatry(of loving or venerating anything more than God). Have a blessed and healthy day in Jesus Our Lord. Open your heart to Jesus and let him become the joy and power in your life. From Pastor Ken

Trust Jesus

Good morning and praise the Lord everybody. This is going to be a great day in Jesus. I was reading Matt:11:28"Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Rest what a beatiuful word how many of us have ever said oh if could just get a good nights rest. What keeps us from the peace or rest we seek for? Its the lack of devotion to the one who will give us the peace that surpasses all understanding. In these troubled times people are looking for answers to the situations that are coming at us all everyday. Notice Jesus said for us to come unto Him. He is are answer to the troubles that we face if you and I will truly give Him the Lordship of our lives He will be there with us. What are some of distresses we face that creates the unrest in our lives.
1)Poverty: All around us we se the destruction that poverty brings on peoples lives. Many are fearing this due to the lose of jobs. However there is a peace that can come to you and I even in the mist of poverty. And that comes from the word of God"But my God shall supply all your need according to his richs in glory by Christ Jesus. When I think of poverty I think of not just physical poverty but spiritual poverty. Many people walk around in spiritual poverty they have never taken time to get truly aqainted with the one who will meet there need. When God sent his only begotten son Jesus into the world it was for us to come to know the Father God and His love for us. John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God the Father gave Jesus so that you and I could know the freedom from all the torment that comes to the world. Notice the word whosoever that means exactly what it says whosoever you are you have the opportunity to have eternal life all you have to do is believe in the Son of God accept him as your personal saviour. When one truly can place their trust in Jesus he will find a peace that surpasses all understanding even in the midst of great turmoil. Jesus is the answer to all our problems if we will open up our hearts to Him. Many years ago when I first started out in ministry a dear women of God gave me this passgae of scripture and said no matter how hard it gets remember these words:"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. I have faced many times of difficulty in my life but these words have always encouraged me to never give up. Have a blessed and healthy day in Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Friday

Be Free

Before I start this morning I would like to let everyone know that I greatly appreciaete your comments and enjoy reading them. This morning I was reading Luke 7:31-50.Jesus says to the women in verse 50 Thy faith hath saved thee;go in peace. AS read that I deccided to read it in my amplified translation. Listen to this translation"But Jesus said to the woman, Your faith has saved you;go(enter)into peace[in freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin]. Here is Jesus saying to the woman your sins are forgiven now walk in the freedom from all the problems that sin has created for you.She was made completly whole. If you read the story you will find that she was a lady of the night. She had built up quite a reputation that made her an outcast from the rest of society. She came into the Pharisees house and found Jesus and began to weep and the tears from her eyes were used by her to wash and caress the feet of Jesus. She had brought a very expensive oil and began to sooth his feet with it. She had shown Jesus her love for him with out expecting any thing in return. The Key to all this is in verse 47"Therfore I tell you,her sins, many[as they are]are forgiven her- because she has loved much. But he who is forgiven little loves little. Those of us who just take are salvation for granted and keep on doing what we no to be wrong really have not come to place this woman came to. What did she give? She gave of herself. When you think about it she entered a house where people rejected and scorned her to get near the Master she fell at his feet and gave of her substance to care for the need of Jesus. If you read the story the man who invited Jesus never even thought about giving him water to wash his tired feet, nor oil to sooth them with but yet he was a guest of that man. The man just took Jesus love for granted and never truly experienced the joy that the woman experienced when Jesus cleansed her from all her sin and the ditresses that came with the sin. What a mighty Lord we have who has forgiven us all our sins and has given us a great freedom in Him. Be blessed in the Lord and enjoy your freedom he has given you in Him.Have a Blessed and healthy day in Jesus.FromPastor Ken

WHat Will You Do With Jesus Christ? PART 2

GOOD MORNING AND PRAISE THE LORD OUR SOON COMING KING. I would like to share with you some more of the thoughts that the Holy spirit has been sharing with me about the above question. This morning the Holy spirit woke me up with these words from the Apostle Paul" Know ye not that ye are the temple of the Holy ghost and the Spirit of god dwelleth in you(1Cor:3:-16).
To have the Holy Ghost dwelling in us we have to be the born again child of God. That new birth can only come by and through Jesus Christ. Jesus said in the gospel of John 14:16"And I (meaning Jesus) will pray to the Father, and he shall send you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. Without Jesus Christ you and I would not have the spirit of God dwelling in us to guide us and direct us into the true life of God. If you think about it for just a little bit you and I have all we need to flow in the presence of God.Psa91:1 says He that dwelleth in the secret place of most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. With out Jesus Christ you and I could never find that secret place to dwell in. And with out the comforter that Jesus prayed to the Father to send to guide us we would not even know how to come into that presence of God.To live in the presence of God is such an awsome revelation from God.Here is another thought without Jesus christ you and I would not see the kingdom of God her the words of Jesus as he spoke to Nicodemus:" Jesus answered and said unto him,Verily, Verily,I say unto thee,(You and I),Except a man be born again, he can not see the kingdom of God. Without the new birth which come through Jesus Christ we can not even see the kingdom of God. As the Holy spirit was talking to me this morning he was making me think about my relationship with Jesus how important it is to give him the Lordship over my life. If I did not know Jesus and with out him in my life I would be a most miserable man. And dont think that I am saying that I am perfect becuase I am not I make many mistakes and mess up. But I am so thankful that when I do mess up that I have some one to go to that will plead my case before the Father and that is Jesus my Lord. However for Jesus to plead my case before the Father I have to be able to admit to God that I messed up. In 1st John 1:9 You will find these words" If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Does all mean all? Listen to the words of Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Without Jesus Christ we would not even have the ability to realize that Jesus brings us into a place where the Father says I will remember their sins and inquities no more. WHat Will You Do With Jesus Christ?

The above title was a question that a great man of God would ask those who would be in the revival services he preached. This man was Charles Finney.
When you think about the question it shuold make us start asking ourselves how does Christ reign in my life. Jesus said I am the way,the truth, and the life. What did he mean? He is the only way that man can enter into a relationship with God the Father. Without Christ there is no way to the Father God. Hes the one truth that man can count on. WE are always looking for the answer to lifes problems, there is only one answer his name is Jesus. Many people know of Jesus but do we truly know Him by this I mean have we truly given our lives to Him. Does He truly regein as Lord in our lives. He is the truth that will keep our souls at peace if we will let him bring into our lives that peace that surpasses all understanding. Iam the life. What life is He talking about? I believe about a life that will be filled with His presence and strength. Jesus said I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly. Its through Christ that we will truly come to know what an abundant life is all about. Some people think that if I had all the money in the world I would have a good life. Thats not true think about all the rich people that are out there in the world and think how misserable their life is. They are constantly being attacked with fear of loosing everything, thier life style is one that shows them trying to find lifes answer in all the wrong places. Jesus has people that follow him that are rich but those that have chosen to seek a deep intimate relationship with Him do not fear the lose of their richs as they know that Jesus is their supplier not the riches. Here is that question to you and I: WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS CHRIST? Will you open your heart up to Him and truly let him become the living LORD of your life.Have a blessed and healthy day in Jesus:From Pastor Ken.

Watch

Good evening and praise the Lord. Sorry I did not get anything posted this morning. I was reading the thirteenth chapter of Mark and the Holy spirit just opened my euyes to this Word I want to share with you. If youread the thirteenth chapter you will find Jesus talking about the end times. We are told toward the end of this teaching to do something very powerful. We are told to watch and pray. Also in this teaching of Jesus He reveals to us the revelation of the churchs duty on the earth. in verse 34 He says the Son of man is like a man taking a far journey, the Son of man is Jesus he was refering to his returning to the Father. He says the man left his house, could it be the house Jesus was refering to was the church, look at the next part He says he gave authority to his servents. We are the servents of the Lord I believe he was giving us the WORD to go forth in His name and do the work he did when he was here on the earth. You know Jesus in Luke 10:19 says to the church " Behold I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:and nothing shall by any means hurt you. We are to be people of prayer and to stay in communication with the Father. WE do this by becoming students of the WORD. He futher says in verse thirteen and to every mman his work, each one of us are to do the work he commiissioned the church to do.See Mathew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-20. You and I dont know when Jesus is comming back but we are to be gaurding are souls and staying alert as tho He was comming tomorrow. I love the amplified translation of verse 34" It is like a man[already]going on a journey: when he leaves home,he puts his servents in charge, each with his particular task, and he gives oders to the doorkeeper to be consatantly alert and on watch. I see a twofold revelation here 1. The doorkeeper could be the Pastor of the church who should be on cosatant watch for the spiritual welfare of the flock he serves and teach the deep truths of God. 2. WE are the door keepers of our hearts and we need to be on gaurd and protect our heart from all evil by building our selves up in the most Holy faith. This comes by commiting to the word of God. We must be come one with the word. I would like to challenge us all to read the rest of the verses from 34-37. And just meditate in them and see what the Holy Spirit reveals to you. Be Blessed in The Lord: From Pastor Ken.

IN the VINE

Good morning and praise the Lord for this glorius day. May you be richly blessed tthrough out this day. Lets take another look at being in the vine.To be secure in the vine takes a great deal of comittment from the born again believer. For you and I as the child of God it boils down to the place of absolute surrender to the will and purpose of God for our lives.
Absolute surrender means sold out to the WORD. Our lives are on a journey here on this earth and we will face the world and all its traps and snares everyday of this journey. But as a child of God the snares are not able to trap us. Psa.91:3 promises us that God our Father will deliver us from the snare of the fowler here theses blessed WORDS from Gods Holy Book"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Let me just give you this thought about this verse the snare is the trap that catches someone and the noisome pestilence is the fears that come from being trapped in that snare. If we dont know the power of the risen Christ with in us those traps and fears will rob us of the life offered to us by being attached to the vine. Who is the WORD it is Jesus the living word.In John 1:1 it says "IN the begining was the word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The vine is the living Word Jesus.
To surrender to the word is surrendering to God for God and the Word are one. According to John15:3 We are made clean by the word which Jesus has spoken to us which is the written word. How can we remain clean and fresh if we never become attached to the word that produces that cleansing revelation in us. You and I are the blessed of the Lord and we are called by Him to declare the truth of his life giving message. To me abiding in the vine means we must live in the WORD and let our lives shine with the light from it. Remember we are the only picture the world sees of our Lord and Saviour. God loves us and is reaching out to us everday so that we can grasp the full life of Christ with in us. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus Name: From Pastor Ken.

IN the VINE

In the gospel of John fifeteenth chapter Jesus gives us the pattern of how to live in sound doctrine. He talks about a vine and a branch. He tells us he is the vine and we are the branches. As we look at one of the passages from that chapter lets think about what a vine is. It is the life line to the branch, it feeds the branch the nutrients that it needs to survive and bring forth fruit. So with this in mind lets look at verse four "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of its self, except it abide in the vine,no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Jesus is giveing us the key to succesful living in Christ we must be totally secured in the vine Jesus. I love the amplified translation of this verse."Dwell in Me, and I(JESUS)will dwell in you,[Live in Me,and I will live in you.]Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in(being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. This to me tells us that we can have a great life if we will choose a life dedicated to being attached to or engrafted in the life of Christ. The vine also represents the heart of the branch by this I mean the vine pumps his life into the branch and in doing so produces his life in the branch and the branch brings forth the fuit of the vine. In the first two verses Jesus tells us that the Father is the husbandman the one who purges and trims the branch so that that life of the vine continues to flow to the branch with full strenghth every day. How does the Father purge and trim us? I believe it is by our dedication to the WORD when we committ ourselves to this word He the Father uses it to keep us clean and pure so that we produce the fruit of the vine over and over into the lives of those we come into contact with. You and I are to bear the same fruit Jesus bore by being a light to those in darkness so that they will be drawn to the saviour. We are called to be the wittness of His grace in the earth. We are to feed the Word of God to the world around us. When we committ to the will of the Father as Jesus did we can expect Him to fulfill the promises in our lives listen to verse seven"If ye abide in me and my WORDS abide in you, ye(meaning you)shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Here is the amplified translation of this verse:"If you live in Me[abide vitally united to Me]and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. Now what do you think about what Jesus is saying to us? I believe he wants us to walk in the blessings but to do so we must get attached to the vine that produces the life of God in evry one of us who are called by His name. God bless you and have a blessed and healthy day in Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Who's The God Of Your Battle

When we are going through trials and tribulations we need to know in our heart of hearts that God is the God of our Battle. The word fight in the scripture talks of being dedicated to the LORD and He will be there to fight our battle. In Exod.14:14 here these words "The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. God had shown himself strong on behalf of Israel and they were freed from the cuelty of the task master Pharaoh. They are at the edge of the red sea and Pharaoh is coming after them. This is a picture of the hand of God against our enemy when you and I will put our Trust in God. The people of God are in fear because Pharaoh and his army is coming upon them they start giving into the fear listen to the words of verse 10"And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them, and they were sore afraid:and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord. Notice how quickly fear took them over, before they were rejoicing at their freedom that God had just gotten for them. Kind of like us today God gives us victory in an area of our lives and then when the enemy comes at us we begin to listen to the pounding of the enemy and fear arises and we forget how that God had just brought us out of a trail with victory in our hands. God has given us victory over our enemy and his lying ways all we have to do is do what Moses tells the children of Israel in verse 13."And Moses said unto the people,FEAR YE NOT,stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you TODAY, for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more. "FOR THE LORD SHALL FIGHT FOR YOU!!!!! You and I can not allow fear to dictate over our lives. God our Father is the God of Our battles. He will fight for us. When the Father sent his son into the world he sent us the victory over the enemy of our soul. Jesus gave us his name and told us to use his name over the enemy. Satan fears the name of Jesus. And when a believer speaks to his enemy in the name of Jesus he has to flee. James 4:7 says" Sbumit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee. WE resist the devil by holding fast to God and his promises. The pronmise in this is the LORD shall fight for you. You speak the Word of God over the fears you are facing and watch God turn it around. Remember if God be for us who can be against us. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus:From Pastor Ken

Who Controls Your Thoughts Part 3

Good morning and praise the Lord!!!!The Holy Spirit keeps pushing at me the word fear so lets look at another scripture this morning about fear.2 Timothy 1:7"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Notice that the WORD says God did not give us a spirit of fear. So if God did not give us a spirit of fear then where does it come from? It comes from the enemy of our soul satan. As I have been led to show you the last couple of days satan finds ways to create fear in us through our thoughts.Fear does many things to our thoughts. Fear creates restlessness when we are being driven by fear we just can not seem to find rest. The only fear we as christians should have is a fear of the LORD but that is reverential. This fear in the text we are looking at is dealing with the enemy.Look at this verse from the amplified translation:"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity(of cowardice, of craven and cringing, and fawning fear), but {He has given us a spirit} of power, and of love, and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self control. Think about your life before Jesus if you were like me you were out of control there was nothing calm about us. We would loose our tempers at the drop of a hat and we never had any true respect for anything or any one. But when we opened the door of our heart to Jesus that all changed. So it should be with our dealing with satan the enemy of our soul and life. When he tries to create fear in my life I remind Him of what Jesus did thruogh the cross and how Jesus stripped him of the keys to death hell and the grave. He no longer has power over the child of God. The only way he can over power a child of God is if he can get us to drop our gaurd down. How do we drop our gaurd by allowing him to place thoughts of fear and despair in our minds. Notice the Word power in the text God has given us all the power we need to defeat this fear its in the name of Jesus. All we have to do is know our rights and privliges in the name of Jesus our enemy cringes at the name of Jesus when spoken through the lips of dedicated born again child of God. If you and I are the children of God we should be satan will quickly learn he cant win by intimidating us with fear tactics.Notice the WORD love. God has shed His love abroad into our hearts, this love that God put in us conquers all fear.Listen to the Words of 1John4:18"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. When we choose to walk by the Word of God we are walking in the Fathers perfect love and that love casteth out fear from our lives.Let me just say to all that God Loves You and He wacthes over you to keep you safe just stand on the WORD. If your being tormented by thoughts that are creating fear and anxiety in your life. Tell the devil to back off you have had enough of his lies. Speak to him in the name of Jesus. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Who Controls Your Thoughts Part 2

Here is one way the devil tries to control our thoughts, it is through fear. He will try to bring fear into our lives by creating wrong thoughts. In the word of God it is written and we are told not to fear over three hundred times. Here is one of my faviorite scriptures when it comes to dealing with fear. Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not: for I am with thee: be not dismayed for I am thy God: I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Notice God says That He is with us, if He is with us the enemy can not control us.Listen to this verse from the amplified bible: " Fear not[there is nothing to fear], for I am with you;do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and harden your heart to difficulties, yes I will help you; I will hold you up and retain you with My[victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. What a promise from our heavenly Father that He will be there to hold us up we have nothing to fear. Here is the thing if satan can create fear in our thought life it will cause us to begin to doubt the hand of God moving in our lives wether it be physically with a healing to our bodies or spiritual healing to our soul. Listen to these words from the book of Romans 8:31"What shall we then say to these things? If God before us,who can be against us? Here is the amplified translation of this verse"What then shall we say to[all]this? If God is for us,who[can be]against us?[Who can be our foe ,If God is on our side?]You and I as children of the most high have our heavenly Father right by our side. He walks with us and protects us everyday of our lives we just need to realize we are not alone in this walk. Jesus said that he and the father would come and make there abode in us that means that the Father and the son live in us. One last scripture to share with you Isaiah 54:17"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servents of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Tell the devil to take his fear tactices and get lost as he has no power over you the child of GOD!!!Have a Happy and healthy day in Jesus name. from Pastor Ken.

Who Controls your Thoughts

Good morning and praise the Lord everybody. In 1Corinthians 2:16 we find these words "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST!!!Heres the question that I woke up with this morning. Where does the enemy of our soul play his biggest game? It is with our minds. Listen to the amplified translation of the above verse:For who has known or understood the mind(the counsels and purposes)of the LOrd so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ(the Messiah)and do hold the thoughts(feelings and purposes)of His heart. You and I as born again beleivers have the mind of Christ we have the ability through the Holy Spirit to think with the thoughts of Jesus our Lord. But the enemy of our soul tries to trick us with false thoughts. When God has done everything in our lives to confirm in us His mighty work the devil will try and convince us that we didnt receive what we asked for from God our Father. He will use situations and friends to try to rob us of the peace that God has given us through Christ our Lord. The mind can be the devils biggest play ground if it does not think upon the Word of God and stay focused in the Word. WE are told through out the word of God to protect the mind here is the word of God from Romans 12:1 "And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Why do you think we are told to renew our minds? It is so that when our enemy comes at us with wrong thoughts we have the Word to tell him I refuse to think this way. I have the mind of Christ and Jesus would not entertain these thoughts and neither will I!!! You and I are the children of God He gave us all we need to defeat our enemy. He gave us His word and He sent the Holy Spirit to lead us into those truths that Jesus our Lord spoke and confirmed in His earthly ministry.Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Where Art Thou

God morning and Praise the Lord.Genesis 3:9"And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, WHERE ART THOU? From the time God had made the garden and placed man in it He had always come in and talked with Adam. This perticular day God comes to talk with Adam, and Adam doesn't come walking toward him to fellowship and talk.
It was not because Adam did not hear God because the scripture says in verse eight "And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day;: Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. I wonder how many times God has called to the born again believer and received no reply because we were to busy with other things to take time to talk with the Lord God. Today we have so many beleivers fighting amongst themselves that I wonder how they can truly hear the voice of God. Jesus said in the gospels my sheep no my voice nad another they will not follow. You and I are the vesels of God and we are here to serve the Lord. How can we serve Him if we dont take time to talk with Him and fellowship with him. To talk with Him we have to be willing to meet with Him. I just wonder what God felt when Adam did not come walking toward Him to set and fellowship with Him. I know how I feel when I dont here from my grown children for long intervals. You and I shuold take great account concerning these words "WHERE ART THOU." Are we open to the voice of God at all times.Have Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus: Pastor Ken

Psalms 1:1-6

Back in March of 2001 I was reading this Psalm and the Lord just gave me what I feel was some good advise I would just like to share those thoughts with you this morning as I wrote them down when the spirit was talking to me. Look at verse 1 It says " Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the"ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. I would like to share with you the amplified translation of verse one:"Blessed(Happy, fortunate," prosperous, and enviable)is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly[following their advice, their plans, and purposes], nor stands[submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful[ and mockers] gather.
AS I read the first verse these thoughts began to fill my mind God says we will be blessed if we walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Who are the ungodly? Are those who think they no God but have no idea how to truly walk with him and be in communication with Him,they run the way of the world and think they no God, they try to give counsel to others and their own relationships are in trouble and they walk in constant restlesness.
The way of sinners: WE are to avoid the hang outs and old places we once walked, once we have been saved those places should no longer have a hold on us. We should no longer dersire to walk the way of the sinner.
The seat of the scornful: To understand the seat of the scornful we must first define scornful. The word scornful is a derivitiveof the word scorn, scorn has several definitions.
1. open or unqualified contempt 2.mockery or derision 3.an object of derision or contempt 4.a contemptouse action or speech 5. to treat or regard with scorn 6. to reject or refuse with scorn 7. to mock or jeer, thus we have the seat of the scornful. Simply put a person or persons who never has anything good to say about anybody or life its self. Theses types of people God says dont even set with them.
When we as children of God learn to avoid these areas.
Our lives as the children of God must be a life of devotion to God and His word. We have to seperate our selves from the old ways and walk in the new.
The deeper the Word in us the stronger our roots become in Christ and then we become like that tree planted by the river, where the roots constanly receive watering and its leaves are always full of life. The Word is are water of life for our roots in God. Here is the little prayer I wrote at the end of this as the Holy spirit was sharing these thoughts with me. Prayer: Oh my Father lead me so that I will have no desire to walk in places where I have no bussiness being. Oh Lord keep me focused on you so that I will always be able to see the good in everybody.Lord keep me where my delight is always in you and your WORD to do your will and not mine. I pray that you will be blessed by this. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Abide Part Two

This word is so powerful when one takes time to meditate upon it so this morning I want to share some more of it signifigence with you.
1. Another is to be a client: When a man has the Lord as his advocate he can never lose, for all things work together for good. Here are the words from Romans 8:28"And we know that all things wok together for good to them that love God,to them called according ti his purpose. Just think you and I have the Son of God as our advocate who like a lawyer goes before the Judge and jury to plead his clients case, Jesus goes before the Father and pleads our case.In Romans 8:31" The word says" What Shall we then say to thses things? If God before us who can be against us? Listen to the amplified translation of this verse:"What the shall we say to [all] this? If GOD is for us, who [can be] against us? [ Who can be our foe, if GOD is on our side?
2. Yet another signification of this Hebrew word is almost puzzling: It is to fear or be afraid- Psa:33:8"Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. Think about this: one who really fears the Lord will run to Him like a prodigal son: confessing, trusting ,and abiding. WE all need to realize how much our heavenly Father loves us, he is the Father in the parable of the prodigle son who waits for us to turn to him when we mess up and confess it to him He is their to throw his arms around us and say welcome home my child I love you.
3. In Jer51:38 gur is translated whelp. A whelp is still an abider-Ezek 19:2 lingering near its mother for its nourishment."Man can not live seperated from God. With out God we are nothing: I know what my life was before Jesus got a hold of me and changed me from the inside out and praise the Lord he is still working on me. With out God we truly dont understand the real meaning of love and peace. You and I need to stay close to the Father we need to be committed to Him and his word abiding in the vine getting our nourishment just like the whelp is nourished by its mother we are nourished by the Word of God: Have a Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus: From Pastor Ken

Abide

In Psalms 15:1 we find these words"Lord who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? Notice David has put two questions before the Lord. Lets take a look at one of the words in the first question. The word abide it comes from the Hebrew word gur. And it has several significations. I would like to share a couple of them with you this morning.
1.Is to turn aside from ones own way to some other person or place with the idea of lodging there. The happiest person in this world or the next is he who turns from his own way and abides in Him who is"the Way."

Did not Jesus say in John 14:6" Iam the way, the truth and the life: To truly come to know Jesus in this light we must learn to abide in the Word and see Jesus in every portion of it from Genesis to Revelation. I like the thought of lodging in the Word taking up residence in the Word to the point that all your thoughts are on the Word and it becomes so ingrafted in us that we radiate with the light of the Word. Jesus said in the 15th chapter of John that He is the vine and we are the branches to be a branch you have to abide in the vine. In verse three of that chapter Jesus tells us how to keep clean He says "Now ye are clean through the WORD I have spoken unto you. Every time we pick up the WORD of GOD it is Jesus speaking to us of the will and purpose of the Father through the Holy Spirit.Another siginificance of the Word abide is this:Is to live as a guest. Most people like to be guests. Think about this the preccious prospect, precious reality, that of being a guest of the Lord and being under His care and protection. When I read this my thought immediatly went to Psalms 91:1"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.Listen to this verse from the amplified translation" He Who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty[whose power no foe can with stand]. Think about what a place to lodge or abide in. You and I have a great priviledge given to us to live in the presence of the Almighty God by becoming in grafted in the Word of God. I would like to give you one more scripture the Lord took me to when I was just looking at the WORD abide John 15:7"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Listen to this verse from the amplified translation"If you live in me[abide vitally united to ME]and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. I pray that this will bless you today as it has made me stop and think about how close do I abide in Christ My Lord. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus. From Pastor Ken

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO COMPROMISE

Good morning and praise the Lord. This morning I was awakened by the Holy Spirit with this thought in mind.He was reminding me of the story in the book of Daniel about the fiery furnace and three Hebrew boys that would not compromise no matter what. We live in a time the bible calls perilous times 2 Timothy3:2. Its a time when compromise is running rampent in all the earth. However we as christians can not compromise our convictions. The three servents of God in the story of Daniel were faced with a decision that could cost them thier lives. They were men of great conviction when it came to the service to their God. They chose to be true to their God and they were cast into a firey furnace that should have detroyed them but it didn't touch them. The story says a fourth man showed up in the furnace with them. This fourth man was the Son of God. You and I are faced everyday with decision that may cause us to comprimise what we know is right. As the spirit was talking to me this morning he was showing me some areas where we as human beings have the biggest challenge for compromise its with family members and most of all with our children. Lets think for a moment how many times we may of compromised with our children for example lets think about when they wanted something you knew it wasn't good for them but rather then get into an argument with them you gave in and let them do what they wanted. What about ourselves we were faced with a decision that could challenge our godly convictions and we new what we should be doing but we ignored the promptings of the Holy Spirit and went and did what our flesh wanted. Then when the problems started coming at us as a result of compromise who did we blame not ourselves but God got the blame. Its time for us as christians to take a long look at our life in Christ and ask the question are we truly committed to him so that there will be no compromise in our life. Compromise is very costly. I would challenge you and I to read Daniel Chapter three and 2 Timothy Chapter three. And ask the Holy Spirit to show us the areas of comprimise in our lives. The time for standing for our Godly convictions is right now as we see are world going into the perilous times as written in 2 Timothy Chapter three. Its time to stand for the truth no matter what the cost. I have just shared with you what the Holy Spirit was speaking to my heart this morning I pray that you will be blessed by it.
