I was setting at my desk this morning asking the lord for the words to post for here today and all I was receiving my spirit were thse words in the book of Proverbs 3:5-7 " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding, "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. These words form the word of God are some of the most powerful truths you and I can follow. Many of us are so set in what we think we cannot here the truth of God. God wants the best for us but we have to acknowledge him and follow His direction. When we begin to think we know more than God we set our selves up for problems. God wants to be in our lives and be a very important part of our lives. The last part of verse seven says depart from evil. How many of us truly understand what evil is if we really did there are many things we do that we would repnet of to the Lord because down deep in our spirits we no its wrong when we do it but we go ahead and follow our own understanding or the dictates of the flesh we basically give into our self will rather than do what God said and depart from evil. If we would just think upon thses three verse with sincere meditation we would find out to do it Gods way would open the doors of heaven and the blessing of God would flow toward us. Verse 8 of this same chapter reads this way. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. What the word is saying if we do what the above verses ask of us that by following Gods way it will creat in us the presence of God that brings health to our spirit which in turns flows over to our soul and body. Just take the time to mdeitate in these verses today and see what God shows you about what you need to let go of. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day From Pastor Ken

Be One With Christ
Good morning and praise the Lord. I would like to give you some more on being in partner ship with God. In the 17th chapter of John Jesus is praying and He prays these words starting at verse 20. "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. Jesus prayed this prayer that we would become one with the Father and Him. How do you and I become one with someone? First we must have a desire to commit to some one and when we commit then we must have desire to to do what it takes to become one with them. Jesus has always wanted us as christians to reach for that oneness with the Father and Him. When two people work at building a relationship they work at becoming one with each other, they learn each others likes and dislikes and they focus on making each other happy. We learn to forgive each other of all our short comings and realize that they are not perfect and subject to making mistakes. Jesus loves us so much that He prayed Father make them one with us even though He knew we were not perfect and that their would be times we would fall short and need to be picked up and dusted off.I believe that we can become one with God the Father and Jesus the Son but we are going to have to seek after with the same passion we get when we really want something and go after it. When you and I want something in the natural we see it then we set our minds to go after it and nothing stops us until we gotten it. We need to have that same passion for a relationship with Jesus. That means we are going to have to work at it and give the word of God some quality time in study and reading of it. In the 30 plus years of ministry I have studied the great generals of God who made a commitment to Him and did great works for Him. The one thing I noticed with all of them they were not affraid to go to God and ask his forgiveness when they messed up and fell short of the mark.I believe this is what we Christians today need to do to develope that true oneness with god is when we mess up be willing to admit it to the Father and ask his forgiveness. I was at a pastors conference many years back but the sperker at that conference that day made this statement and it has always stuck with me."He said a failure is one who falls down and never gets back up. he said you will never be a failure as long as when you fall down you are willing to get up and try again. I believe Jesus is always there and when we fall along the way if we call on Him and confess are wrong He in his mercy reaches down and picks us up and dusts us off and sends us on our way to try again. He is always there with us. We are to be one with Him and the Father but its going to take hard work dedication on our part to committ to his ways. Giving him our total respect and love.Have a Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus name. From Pastor Ken

WHOS YOUR PARTNER
THIS MORNING AS I WAS PREPARING MY CUP OF TEA I PULLED THE CUP FROM THE CUPBOARD I FOUND THESE WORDS INGRAVED ON THE CUP. GOD IS THE SILENT PARTNER IN ALL GREAT ENTERPRISES. These words started me thinking about my life and who is my partner as I go through life, many of us would say well its my husband, my wife, my parents, my children and these are all good answers but where is the one partner we need to help us truly relate to and love those that are close to us. God is the one true partner that we all need to help us walk in the truth show that truth to the world. Lets talk about family for a moment. God created the family he made man and women and told them to go forth and mutiply. He wanted the family unit to be strong and walk upright in the earth and the one thing He also wanted was to be a part of that family. He gave every one of us the right to choose to follow his will and ideas. We can look at God as that silent partner in the enterprise of marriage and family. If we fail to include him in our family the family begins to fall apart. Oh it doesn't heppen real fast little by little the outside forces come in and begin to eat away at the morals and the peace of the family life. All thruogh out the word of God from Genesis to Revelation God has always wanted to be a part of our lives in every aspect of it. He is the true influence that will keep the family in love with each other and create that willingness to maintain and help each other. Lets talk about your personal relationship with God is HE your partner do you seek his will for your life do you give Him that honored place in your life. Do you and I truly allow Gods Word to influence our lives like he really wants to.When I was a little boy one of the fist passages of scripture I ever memorized was John 3:16" For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever beleives in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. At the time I memorized this I was doing it to win a prize that was offered to the one who could quote it word for word I worked hard to get this word into my heart to win the prize, but it wasn't until I really let Jesus have the control of my life that I understood the depth of this verse. I realized that where it says for God so loved the world that he was talking about me He loved me enough to send His Son into the world to redeem me. God sent Jesus so that He could become my partner in life to enable me to see my fellow man as Jesus and as God the Father sees him. To have the compassion for him that the Father has for him. To be able to walk in forgiveness toward all of humanity no matter what. God is just waiting to become the partner in your life.Listen to these words from the book of Joshua" This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will have good success. This verse is giving us the truth on how to be successful in life. It shows us how to become a true partner with God. To be partner with someone you have to get to know them we get to know God through His word and making it a living part of our lives everyday. By the way the one who penned those Words that were on my cup was Abraham Lincoln. Have a Blessed and Healthy day. From Pastor Ken

Don"t Grow Weary
Isa.40:31" But those who wait upon the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. What does it mean to wait upon the lord. To me it simply means that you and I must put our trust in the Lord no matter what our circumstance. We all face opposition from the devil. He is trying to destroy our relationship with God. He wants us to fail as christians. But I have news for him and for all of us. We are the redeemed of the Lord and our life is in Christ our Lord. When things are coming at us on all sides thats not the time to give up thats the time to plant our spiritual feet and say I am not going to give into this problem I am going to take it to the Lord my redeemer and King and wait upon Him for HE is my strength. Listen to the words of Isa 41:10 Fear not,for Iam with you;Be not dimayed, For Iam your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Notice God says fear not for he is with us. What a promise to know that the God who created this great universe is on our side and up holding us in His righteuos right hand, He says I will help you what a promise to know that the creater of this great universe is going to help us. God is our help in all the trials we face in our journey here upon the earth. I hear people say all the time Oh if I could just get some relief from this problem to get relief turn to the one who will give you the strength you need to overcome the problem. We have to put our trust in the Father who loves us and cares about what we are going through. Peter 5:7 says "cast all you care upon Him for he cares for you.Your heavenly Father loves you and he wants you and I to put our trust in Him and throw all our cares and worry over to him and let him take them from us. God cant take it from us till we are willing to give it to him. He is always reaching out to help us but until we are ready to release it to him he cant intervene on our behalf. Just like he said He is there to uphold us in his right hand but we must get into his hand. What are you giong through at this very moment why dont you just give it to God and then start thanking him that He has already taken care of it and stand still and see the salvation of the Lord move on your behalf. Walking With God
In one of the books of the prophets there is a passage of scripture that reads " Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Now the prophet is talking to the children of Israel. In the start of the text he syas to the children of Israel hear this WORD of the Lord. What the prophet was saying to the children of Israel he is saying to us today can you and God walk together lest you be agreed. Many of us try to make God agree with us and see trhings our way rather then us surrender to Gods ways. For example when it comes to healing in Isa.53:5 the Word says" But he (meaning Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him;and with his stripes we are healed.
In 1st Peter 2:24 the word says this"Who his own self ( meaning Jesus) bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Now here are two passges from the Word of God that shows us that Jesus paid the price for our sins and for our healing. So the problem doesn't lay with God it lays with us coming into agreement with the Word of God and staying in ageement with it. God the Father loves us and wants us to in joy a happy and properus life. I believe that we as the children of God must come into agreement with God and his word.To agree with something you have to speak it. When you are in need of healing you have to see your self healed according to the word of God.As you read these two verses they already declare your healing is paid for and taken care of. When Jesus took the sins of humanity on his body he also took on his body the curse that came with the sins. To agree with the word you and I have to set aside any preconceived ideas we already have or may have been taught about Gods will to heal and accept the Word of God and the truth about his will to heal. Our healing is a done deal as far as God is concerned the price has been paid and you and I need to accept that. The key is to accept the word and then confess it over and over, walk around declaring that by his stripes I am healed, and dont waiver stand firm on the word. Just remember God wants you healthy and full of life. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day. From Pastor Ken

Follow His Commandments
Yeterday we looked at hearkening unto the voice of the Lord thy God. From Exodus 15:26. Now lets look at the next portion that says " and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes. And give ear to the Word the bible is the written Word of God our Father. Woven within theses pages are all we need to walk in happiness and peace. God gave Moses the ten commandments while he was upon the mountain with Him. These ten commandments hold in them great truth and the key to life. Its sad that the leaders of this great nation have chosen to trample on thses great truths. For example whats wrong with the words "Honor thy father and thy mother. What does Gods word say in the next portion "That thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Could it be that honoring thy father and thy mother has something to do with walking in health. You be the judge. God has never given us anything that we could not use in the pursuit of life. To honor someone is to give them respect. I see children today that are so disrespectful to thier parents and wonder why. This is just one commandment the rest are just as powerful in meaning as this one. Jesus the Son of God said in matthew 22:37-39 To a lawyer of his day when the young man asked him master which is the great commandment listen to Jesus reply" Thou Shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. The key to success in life is to listen to the word of God and follow after it. Who is your neighbor? Is it just the man down the road or across the street or could it go much deeper than just those that I just mentioned. Could it take in the members of your own household and family. Notice Jesus said love them as you love yourself. This simply means take care and love them as take care and love yourself. See to their needs as you do your own. If you can't love those of your own household how can love the man down the road or down the street. This all begins by developing a relatioship with God and loving him and respecting him.Today this world needs to see people who are not afraid to walk the walk, and talk the talk and their lives show it. We are living in the greatest time for the church to show forth the great truths of God. You and I are the ones that are to be the example in the earth. We are challenged everyday to live the life of Christ before the world. We cannot do it if we refuse to live by the commandments and statutes of God.I would like to leave you with these words to think upon that were written by William Bryant" The sacredness of the bible awes me, and I approach it with the same sort of reverential feeling that an ancient Hebrew might be supposed to feel who was about to touch the ark of God with unhallowed hands. Lets learn to take Gods word and follow it. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day: From Pastor Ken

God wants you well
Evodus 15 ;26 The other day we talked about Gods Will to heal you. And it truly is Gods will to heal you. In this passage of scripture God says to His people that they must do something. Lets look at the first part of what God asks us to do. "And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and do that which is right in his sight. The word hearken means to pay attention, listen intently, give me your complete attention. How many of us give our Father God our complete attention? Many of us go and do what ever we feel is right to us. But it may not be right in Gods sight. Remember God says do what is right in his sight. I remember how my earthly Father tried to give me direction when I was growing up. I also remember how many times I rejected his counsel because I thought I knew what was right for me. Many of us treat the counsel of our heavenly Father the same way and when things fall apart we are wondering what went wrong. There is a passgae of scripture in the Word of God that warns us about doing what is right in our own sight. Listen to these words from Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death. How many times have we went with something because we felt it was the right way, only to have it fall apart or bring us more heart ache than goodness. I know in my own personel life how many times I went with something that I thought was the right thing to do only to have it blow up in my face. I cant blame the results on God it wasn't his fault that I did not seek Him first about it and then listen to the counsel of His spirit that would have given me the true direction to follow so that the end result would have been a blessing rather than a curse. God is our Father he is not going to give us unwise counsel. Our heavenly Father has our best interest at heart. He wants us to walk in the fullnes of His love and peace. So choose you this day to purpose in your heart to hearken unto the Voice Of Your heavenly Father and follow his and commandments.
Have a Blessed and healthy Day.

God Does Heal
Today I want to tell you God wants to heal you. He said in Exodus 15:26" I am the Lord that healeth thee. Why would God say He is the Lord that healeth Thee if he Did not want to heal us. Yes I know that this is Old Testament but the God of the Old testament is also the God of the New testament and He sent his son with healing in his wings to usher in the new covenant that came through Christ. Jesus said in the New Testament these words the thief cometh for to steal, and to kill, and destroy, notice Jesus said the theif cometh to steal, kill and destroy. I have studied the word of God for many years and I have never found where God ever refered to himself as a thief. But He always has come to the rescue of his people when they have had enough of being robbed by the theif. when they have repented and turned from there wicked ways God has come in like a flood and healed them. Listen to these words from the book of Jeremiah chapter 14 Heal me, O Lord and I shall be healed, save me O Lord and I shall be saved for thou art my praise. Now God is not your enemy He is your healer. There are certain things He expects from us and if we follow those things He will be there for us. Have A Blessed and Healthy Day. From Pastor Ken

God Loves You
John 3:16 " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
This is a very powerful word of scripture as you read it, you need to see yourself as the world that God sent his son for. You could put your name in there, where it says " It would read like this For God so Loved (you) That he sent Jesus to receieve you into the Fathers family. Today is valentines day what better valentine could you ask for then to be loved by God the creator of all we see around us. You know verse 17 says that God sent not his son into the world to condem the world but that the world through him might be saved. Jesus did not come to condem you but to give you the way out of condemnation and enter into a life free from it. So today as you think about how much you love someone think about how much God loves and cares about you and wants to share his life with you. Remember Jesus said He came that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

Thought For Today
Psalms 43:5
In this psalm the author is fighting a battle with in himself. The author asks himself two questions.
1. Why are you cast down oh my soul? The soul is your inner self so he is asking his inner self why are you so upset.
2. And why should you moan over me and be so disquited with in me?
When I was reading this I begin to think how many times I have had a battle going on within my self. A battle because a friend betrayed my trust or I made a wrong decision and the results were not what I expected so right away all the thoughts of discontentment begin to hit me. Do you know when that battle is going on people who don't really know you will be able to tell something is wrong because they will notice the change in your counttenance or your facial expressions. Listen to the author reply to his soul.Soul why are you letting all these things bother you don't you know that your hope is in God. He says you know what soul I am going to Paraise God and lift up my praise and adoration to the Lord for my hope is in him and not in my flesh. When I study the Word I use the King James bible and the Amplified bible. And I love the way the amplified reads on latter portion of that verse: Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my sad countenanceand my GOD. When you and I will start to praise God in the midst of the turmoil, our sdaness will turn to joy and the peace of God will flood our soul like a river.
