Praise the Lord. I was at work yesterday and I started thinking about 1 Peter 5:8 The word says that the devil is going around seeking whom he may devour. I thought about the word seek and what it means it means to search for. As I thought about this I started thinking well if the devil is searching for some one to devour that there must be some he can't touch. And I wondered who those are that he can't touch. Daniel was one that God did not allow satan to devour. Notice in Daniel life adversity came at him but it did not devour him. Could it be that it was because of his deep commitment to God.I thought of the words in 1 John 5:18"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. You and I must purpose in our hearts to keep ourselves pure before the Lord just as Daniel chose to. By doing so when the adversity's come we will not be devoured by them for we will do like God says to do in Psalms 50:15"And call upon me in the day of trouble;I (God) will deliver thee, and thou shalt gorify me!!!! We are coming into a new year lets purpose in our hearts to be in absolute surrender to God. To do this we must come out from among the world and be seperated people unto the LORD. May the LORD make this new years eve a victourious day for you. From Pastor Ken

We Are The Delivered
Good morning and praise the Lord. Hope you all had a very blessed Christmas in our Lord. I was reading over an outline that I have and when I read this passage of scripture the holy Spirit started showing me what I am about to share with you I hope it blesses you like it has me. "So Daniel was taken up out of the den,AND NO MANNER OF HURT WAS FOUND UPON HIM,BECAUSE HE BELIEVED IN HIS GOD!!!!! WHY WAS THERE NO MANNER OF HURT UPON DANIEL? BECAUSE HE BELIEVED HIS GOD. Daniel had an absolute trust in the love and power of his God. We all know who Daniels God was ans is He is the almighty God the one who loved us so much that he sent his only begotten son to redeem us out of the lions den of life. Daniel chose to stay faithful to God in a land that was filled with sin and idol worship. He prayed to His God on a daily bases never forgetting in whom he put his trust and confidence. You and I are living in a time in history when we need to look at ourselves and ask the question do I have that same con fidence in the God of Daniel. Think about what 1Peter 5:8 says "Be sober, be vigilent;because your adversary the devil,as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour: Notice who our enemy is Satan. And what is he doing he's walking about seeking whom he may devour just like those hungry lions in the den Daniel was cast into. However he cannot devour what is committed to the FATHER THROUGH CHRIST OUR LORD!!! Are you devouted to God with all your life Daniel devouted himself to God no matter what it looked like around him. He was not committed to the wordly king he was not willing to give into the ways of the world around him. You and I must take on this same attitude I will not be be directed by the circumstances around me. I will submit myself to God and resist the Devil and all he tries to send my way. FOR IAM THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD!!!! THE BLOOD OF JESUS COVERS ME IAM SANCTIFIED THROUGH HIM!!!! IAM THE BLESSED OF THE LORD!!!! You and I have to resist the devil and stand our ground in Jesus name. Just like Daniel in the lions den we must stand true to the God of promise. Just remember what is committed to the Father through Jesus, satan cannot devour he can not touch. With the comming of the new year I would challenge us to give total alliegence to God our Father and to his Son.MAy the Lord bless this day for you with the power and presence of the Holy Ghost all around you. Will You Let GO of The Old
Good morning and praise the Lord. He is worthy of all our praise. I was reading Mark 10:46-52 this morning and as I was reading the Holy Spirit just made verse 50 jump out at me."And he,casting away his garmet, rose and came to Jesus. How many of us try to come to Jesus to ask something from him and are not willing to throw off the old before we come to Him. This man was a begger sitting by the roadside he had been sitting there for a long time begging. On this paticular day something good was about to come his way. You and are always asking Jesus to do something for us but many times we ask without really wanting to let go of the past. Blind Bartimaeus heard the crowd coming his way but today there was different atmosphere in the air. The crowd is excited because Jesus is leading them and talking with them. The blind man heres them say Jesus He began to cry out "thou son of David have mercy on me. Some tried get him to be quitebut he just got that much louder. He wanted something from Jesus. He wanted to get Jesus attention. In verse 49 we are told Jesusstopped and called for him. At that moment the blind man made a decision that he would cast off the old and go before Jesus to get what he sought after. Listen to the words of Jesus in verse 51"And Jesu answered and said unto him. WHAT WILT THOU THAT I SHOULD DO UNTO THEE? He said that I might receive my sight. jesus said go thy way thy faith hath made thee whole. Why did the blind man throw off the old garmet? I believe he got rid of it so he would not be reminded that he was a begger he wanted to start out new and fresh. The word says immediatly he received his sight, notice what else he did he left the old and picked up the new and followed after Jesus, he did not go back and pick up the old outer garmet to put back on. He left the past to follow the new. How many of us can truly look at Jesus and say that we have put the past behind us and follow the master with and free and pure heart.I also beleive that the blind man received more than just his physical sight he received a new spiritual sight if he had not he would have just taken his miracle and walked away as so many had done but instead he left the past and followed the new. The word says you and I are new creations in Christ so if we are we need to let the past go and follow the new life we have in Christ. I know as I read this scripture this morning Holy Spirit just started revealing to me what I was still holding unto and would not let go of. I want all that the Father has prividedc for me and if there are things holding that back then I want to get free of them how about you? My prayer is that you will read this text and meditate on it with a desire to have the LORD open our spiritaul eyes. May the Lord Bless you and Keep You Healthy From Pastor Ken
