LIFE

GOOD MORNING AND PRAISE THE LORD. YESTERDAY THE SPIRIT LED ME TO WRITE ABOUT THE SOUL AND SHARE SOME THOUGHTS FROM THE BOOK HEBREW HONEY. AS I THOUGHT ABOUT THE SCRIPTURES AND WHEN I WOKE UP THIS MORNING THE THOUGHT THAT WAS ON MY HEART WAS THIS PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE FROM JOHN 1:4"in HIM WAS LIFE, AND THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MAN.I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT OUR LIVES HOW THEY SHOULD BE THAT SAME LIFE OF CHRIST BEING REVEALED TO A DARK AND LOST WORLD BY THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN WITH THAT LIFE. I STARTED READING THE DEFINITIONS FROM THE ABOVE BOOK AND FOUND SEVERAL DEFINITIONS ABOUT LIFE. SO LET ME SHARE THEM WITH YOU.
A. And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;and man became a living soul. The hebrew word Chayah means:
1. To live remain alive--Josh6:17. This is just not to die.
2. To live again to be revived-- Ezek.37:5 Therefore it is believed the Lord can revive a church which seems to be dead.
3. To become well, to recover from sickness--2Kings 1:2 The human body and the church are sbject to many ills but the Lord can heal them all.
4. Lively, vigorous, strong--- 2Sam.23:20. Such vigor and strength used for the Lord would cause wonders.
5. Flourshing, prosperous--- 1Sam.25:6 This kind of life can grandly advance the kingdom of God
6. Fresh Gen26:19. This is the opposite to flat, dead, putrid, or stagnant. Another word for life or soul is nephesh which means vital spirit, animus, to which is ascribed hunger, thirst, loathing, etc.
These definitions are strong but we need to see them as the message of God to the church his body. Look at definition number 2 The LORD can revive a church which seems to be dead The chuch is made up of believers and its we the believers that need to look at our life and see if it needs revived in our relationship with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. If we have become what seems to be dead it might just be we need to get a hunger for the things of God agagin like we had when we were first saved.Remember the words in Matthew 5:6"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteuosness: for they shall be filled. Be filled today with the glory and presence of God in your LIFE!!!! Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus Name: From Pastor Ken
