Good evening and praise the Lord. Sorry I did not get anything posted this morning. I was reading the thirteenth chapter of Mark and the Holy spirit just opened my euyes to this Word I want to share with you. If youread the thirteenth chapter you will find Jesus talking about the end times. We are told toward the end of this teaching to do something very powerful. We are told to watch and pray. Also in this teaching of Jesus He reveals to us the revelation of the churchs duty on the earth. in verse 34 He says the Son of man is like a man taking a far journey, the Son of man is Jesus he was refering to his returning to the Father. He says the man left his house, could it be the house Jesus was refering to was the church, look at the next part He says he gave authority to his servents. We are the servents of the Lord I believe he was giving us the WORD to go forth in His name and do the work he did when he was here on the earth. You know Jesus in Luke 10:19 says to the church " Behold I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:and nothing shall by any means hurt you. We are to be people of prayer and to stay in communication with the Father. WE do this by becoming students of the WORD. He futher says in verse thirteen and to every mman his work, each one of us are to do the work he commiissioned the church to do.See Mathew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-20. You and I dont know when Jesus is comming back but we are to be gaurding are souls and staying alert as tho He was comming tomorrow. I love the amplified translation of verse 34" It is like a man[already]going on a journey: when he leaves home,he puts his servents in charge, each with his particular task, and he gives oders to the doorkeeper to be consatantly alert and on watch. I see a twofold revelation here 1. The doorkeeper could be the Pastor of the church who should be on cosatant watch for the spiritual welfare of the flock he serves and teach the deep truths of God. 2. WE are the door keepers of our hearts and we need to be on gaurd and protect our heart from all evil by building our selves up in the most Holy faith. This comes by commiting to the word of God. We must be come one with the word. I would like to challenge us all to read the rest of the verses from 34-37. And just meditate in them and see what the Holy Spirit reveals to you. Be Blessed in The Lord: From Pastor Ken.

IN the VINE
Good morning and praise the Lord for this glorius day. May you be richly blessed tthrough out this day. Lets take another look at being in the vine.To be secure in the vine takes a great deal of comittment from the born again believer. For you and I as the child of God it boils down to the place of absolute surrender to the will and purpose of God for our lives.
Absolute surrender means sold out to the WORD. Our lives are on a journey here on this earth and we will face the world and all its traps and snares everyday of this journey. But as a child of God the snares are not able to trap us. Psa.91:3 promises us that God our Father will deliver us from the snare of the fowler here theses blessed WORDS from Gods Holy Book"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Let me just give you this thought about this verse the snare is the trap that catches someone and the noisome pestilence is the fears that come from being trapped in that snare. If we dont know the power of the risen Christ with in us those traps and fears will rob us of the life offered to us by being attached to the vine. Who is the WORD it is Jesus the living word.In John 1:1 it says "IN the begining was the word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The vine is the living Word Jesus.
To surrender to the word is surrendering to God for God and the Word are one. According to John15:3 We are made clean by the word which Jesus has spoken to us which is the written word. How can we remain clean and fresh if we never become attached to the word that produces that cleansing revelation in us. You and I are the blessed of the Lord and we are called by Him to declare the truth of his life giving message. To me abiding in the vine means we must live in the WORD and let our lives shine with the light from it. Remember we are the only picture the world sees of our Lord and Saviour. God loves us and is reaching out to us everday so that we can grasp the full life of Christ with in us. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus Name: From Pastor Ken.

IN the VINE
In the gospel of John fifeteenth chapter Jesus gives us the pattern of how to live in sound doctrine. He talks about a vine and a branch. He tells us he is the vine and we are the branches. As we look at one of the passages from that chapter lets think about what a vine is. It is the life line to the branch, it feeds the branch the nutrients that it needs to survive and bring forth fruit. So with this in mind lets look at verse four "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of its self, except it abide in the vine,no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Jesus is giveing us the key to succesful living in Christ we must be totally secured in the vine Jesus. I love the amplified translation of this verse."Dwell in Me, and I(JESUS)will dwell in you,[Live in Me,and I will live in you.]Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in(being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. This to me tells us that we can have a great life if we will choose a life dedicated to being attached to or engrafted in the life of Christ. The vine also represents the heart of the branch by this I mean the vine pumps his life into the branch and in doing so produces his life in the branch and the branch brings forth the fuit of the vine. In the first two verses Jesus tells us that the Father is the husbandman the one who purges and trims the branch so that that life of the vine continues to flow to the branch with full strenghth every day. How does the Father purge and trim us? I believe it is by our dedication to the WORD when we committ ourselves to this word He the Father uses it to keep us clean and pure so that we produce the fruit of the vine over and over into the lives of those we come into contact with. You and I are to bear the same fruit Jesus bore by being a light to those in darkness so that they will be drawn to the saviour. We are called to be the wittness of His grace in the earth. We are to feed the Word of God to the world around us. When we committ to the will of the Father as Jesus did we can expect Him to fulfill the promises in our lives listen to verse seven"If ye abide in me and my WORDS abide in you, ye(meaning you)shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Here is the amplified translation of this verse:"If you live in Me[abide vitally united to Me]and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. Now what do you think about what Jesus is saying to us? I believe he wants us to walk in the blessings but to do so we must get attached to the vine that produces the life of God in evry one of us who are called by His name. God bless you and have a blessed and healthy day in Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Who's The God Of Your Battle
When we are going through trials and tribulations we need to know in our heart of hearts that God is the God of our Battle. The word fight in the scripture talks of being dedicated to the LORD and He will be there to fight our battle. In Exod.14:14 here these words "The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. God had shown himself strong on behalf of Israel and they were freed from the cuelty of the task master Pharaoh. They are at the edge of the red sea and Pharaoh is coming after them. This is a picture of the hand of God against our enemy when you and I will put our Trust in God. The people of God are in fear because Pharaoh and his army is coming upon them they start giving into the fear listen to the words of verse 10"And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them, and they were sore afraid:and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord. Notice how quickly fear took them over, before they were rejoicing at their freedom that God had just gotten for them. Kind of like us today God gives us victory in an area of our lives and then when the enemy comes at us we begin to listen to the pounding of the enemy and fear arises and we forget how that God had just brought us out of a trail with victory in our hands. God has given us victory over our enemy and his lying ways all we have to do is do what Moses tells the children of Israel in verse 13."And Moses said unto the people,FEAR YE NOT,stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show you TODAY, for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more. "FOR THE LORD SHALL FIGHT FOR YOU!!!!! You and I can not allow fear to dictate over our lives. God our Father is the God of Our battles. He will fight for us. When the Father sent his son into the world he sent us the victory over the enemy of our soul. Jesus gave us his name and told us to use his name over the enemy. Satan fears the name of Jesus. And when a believer speaks to his enemy in the name of Jesus he has to flee. James 4:7 says" Sbumit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee. WE resist the devil by holding fast to God and his promises. The pronmise in this is the LORD shall fight for you. You speak the Word of God over the fears you are facing and watch God turn it around. Remember if God be for us who can be against us. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus:From Pastor Ken

Who Controls Your Thoughts Part 3
Good morning and praise the Lord!!!!The Holy Spirit keeps pushing at me the word fear so lets look at another scripture this morning about fear.2 Timothy 1:7"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Notice that the WORD says God did not give us a spirit of fear. So if God did not give us a spirit of fear then where does it come from? It comes from the enemy of our soul satan. As I have been led to show you the last couple of days satan finds ways to create fear in us through our thoughts.Fear does many things to our thoughts. Fear creates restlessness when we are being driven by fear we just can not seem to find rest. The only fear we as christians should have is a fear of the LORD but that is reverential. This fear in the text we are looking at is dealing with the enemy.Look at this verse from the amplified translation:"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity(of cowardice, of craven and cringing, and fawning fear), but {He has given us a spirit} of power, and of love, and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self control. Think about your life before Jesus if you were like me you were out of control there was nothing calm about us. We would loose our tempers at the drop of a hat and we never had any true respect for anything or any one. But when we opened the door of our heart to Jesus that all changed. So it should be with our dealing with satan the enemy of our soul and life. When he tries to create fear in my life I remind Him of what Jesus did thruogh the cross and how Jesus stripped him of the keys to death hell and the grave. He no longer has power over the child of God. The only way he can over power a child of God is if he can get us to drop our gaurd down. How do we drop our gaurd by allowing him to place thoughts of fear and despair in our minds. Notice the Word power in the text God has given us all the power we need to defeat this fear its in the name of Jesus. All we have to do is know our rights and privliges in the name of Jesus our enemy cringes at the name of Jesus when spoken through the lips of dedicated born again child of God. If you and I are the children of God we should be satan will quickly learn he cant win by intimidating us with fear tactics.Notice the WORD love. God has shed His love abroad into our hearts, this love that God put in us conquers all fear.Listen to the Words of 1John4:18"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. When we choose to walk by the Word of God we are walking in the Fathers perfect love and that love casteth out fear from our lives.Let me just say to all that God Loves You and He wacthes over you to keep you safe just stand on the WORD. If your being tormented by thoughts that are creating fear and anxiety in your life. Tell the devil to back off you have had enough of his lies. Speak to him in the name of Jesus. Who Controls Your Thoughts Part 2
Here is one way the devil tries to control our thoughts, it is through fear. He will try to bring fear into our lives by creating wrong thoughts. In the word of God it is written and we are told not to fear over three hundred times. Here is one of my faviorite scriptures when it comes to dealing with fear. Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not: for I am with thee: be not dismayed for I am thy God: I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Notice God says That He is with us, if He is with us the enemy can not control us.Listen to this verse from the amplified bible: " Fear not[there is nothing to fear], for I am with you;do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and harden your heart to difficulties, yes I will help you; I will hold you up and retain you with My[victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. What a promise from our heavenly Father that He will be there to hold us up we have nothing to fear. Here is the thing if satan can create fear in our thought life it will cause us to begin to doubt the hand of God moving in our lives wether it be physically with a healing to our bodies or spiritual healing to our soul. Listen to these words from the book of Romans 8:31"What shall we then say to these things? If God before us,who can be against us? Here is the amplified translation of this verse"What then shall we say to[all]this? If God is for us,who[can be]against us?[Who can be our foe ,If God is on our side?]You and I as children of the most high have our heavenly Father right by our side. He walks with us and protects us everyday of our lives we just need to realize we are not alone in this walk. Jesus said that he and the father would come and make there abode in us that means that the Father and the son live in us. One last scripture to share with you Isaiah 54:17"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servents of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Tell the devil to take his fear tactices and get lost as he has no power over you the child of GOD!!!Have a Happy and healthy day in Jesus name. from Pastor Ken.

Who Controls your Thoughts
Good morning and praise the Lord everybody. In 1Corinthians 2:16 we find these words "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST!!!Heres the question that I woke up with this morning. Where does the enemy of our soul play his biggest game? It is with our minds. Listen to the amplified translation of the above verse:For who has known or understood the mind(the counsels and purposes)of the LOrd so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ(the Messiah)and do hold the thoughts(feelings and purposes)of His heart. You and I as born again beleivers have the mind of Christ we have the ability through the Holy Spirit to think with the thoughts of Jesus our Lord. But the enemy of our soul tries to trick us with false thoughts. When God has done everything in our lives to confirm in us His mighty work the devil will try and convince us that we didnt receive what we asked for from God our Father. He will use situations and friends to try to rob us of the peace that God has given us through Christ our Lord. The mind can be the devils biggest play ground if it does not think upon the Word of God and stay focused in the Word. WE are told through out the word of God to protect the mind here is the word of God from Romans 12:1 "And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Why do you think we are told to renew our minds? It is so that when our enemy comes at us with wrong thoughts we have the Word to tell him I refuse to think this way. I have the mind of Christ and Jesus would not entertain these thoughts and neither will I!!! You and I are the children of God He gave us all we need to defeat our enemy. He gave us His word and He sent the Holy Spirit to lead us into those truths that Jesus our Lord spoke and confirmed in His earthly ministry.Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Where Art Thou
God morning and Praise the Lord.Genesis 3:9"And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, WHERE ART THOU? From the time God had made the garden and placed man in it He had always come in and talked with Adam. This perticular day God comes to talk with Adam, and Adam doesn't come walking toward him to fellowship and talk.
It was not because Adam did not hear God because the scripture says in verse eight "And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day;: Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. I wonder how many times God has called to the born again believer and received no reply because we were to busy with other things to take time to talk with the Lord God. Today we have so many beleivers fighting amongst themselves that I wonder how they can truly hear the voice of God. Jesus said in the gospels my sheep no my voice nad another they will not follow. You and I are the vesels of God and we are here to serve the Lord. How can we serve Him if we dont take time to talk with Him and fellowship with him. To talk with Him we have to be willing to meet with Him. I just wonder what God felt when Adam did not come walking toward Him to set and fellowship with Him. I know how I feel when I dont here from my grown children for long intervals. You and I shuold take great account concerning these words "WHERE ART THOU." Are we open to the voice of God at all times.Have Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus: Pastor Ken

Psalms 1:1-6
Back in March of 2001 I was reading this Psalm and the Lord just gave me what I feel was some good advise I would just like to share those thoughts with you this morning as I wrote them down when the spirit was talking to me. Look at verse 1 It says " Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the"ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. I would like to share with you the amplified translation of verse one:"Blessed(Happy, fortunate," prosperous, and enviable)is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly[following their advice, their plans, and purposes], nor stands[submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful[ and mockers] gather.
AS I read the first verse these thoughts began to fill my mind God says we will be blessed if we walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Who are the ungodly? Are those who think they no God but have no idea how to truly walk with him and be in communication with Him,they run the way of the world and think they no God, they try to give counsel to others and their own relationships are in trouble and they walk in constant restlesness.
The way of sinners: WE are to avoid the hang outs and old places we once walked, once we have been saved those places should no longer have a hold on us. We should no longer dersire to walk the way of the sinner.
The seat of the scornful: To understand the seat of the scornful we must first define scornful. The word scornful is a derivitiveof the word scorn, scorn has several definitions.
1. open or unqualified contempt 2.mockery or derision 3.an object of derision or contempt 4.a contemptouse action or speech 5. to treat or regard with scorn 6. to reject or refuse with scorn 7. to mock or jeer, thus we have the seat of the scornful. Simply put a person or persons who never has anything good to say about anybody or life its self. Theses types of people God says dont even set with them.
When we as children of God learn to avoid these areas.
Our lives as the children of God must be a life of devotion to God and His word. We have to seperate our selves from the old ways and walk in the new.
The deeper the Word in us the stronger our roots become in Christ and then we become like that tree planted by the river, where the roots constanly receive watering and its leaves are always full of life. The Word is are water of life for our roots in God. Here is the little prayer I wrote at the end of this as the Holy spirit was sharing these thoughts with me. Prayer: Oh my Father lead me so that I will have no desire to walk in places where I have no bussiness being. Oh Lord keep me focused on you so that I will always be able to see the good in everybody.Lord keep me where my delight is always in you and your WORD to do your will and not mine. I pray that you will be blessed by this. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus. From Pastor Ken

Abide Part Two
This word is so powerful when one takes time to meditate upon it so this morning I want to share some more of it signifigence with you.
1. Another is to be a client: When a man has the Lord as his advocate he can never lose, for all things work together for good. Here are the words from Romans 8:28"And we know that all things wok together for good to them that love God,to them called according ti his purpose. Just think you and I have the Son of God as our advocate who like a lawyer goes before the Judge and jury to plead his clients case, Jesus goes before the Father and pleads our case.In Romans 8:31" The word says" What Shall we then say to thses things? If God before us who can be against us? Listen to the amplified translation of this verse:"What the shall we say to [all] this? If GOD is for us, who [can be] against us? [ Who can be our foe, if GOD is on our side?
2. Yet another signification of this Hebrew word is almost puzzling: It is to fear or be afraid- Psa:33:8"Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. Think about this: one who really fears the Lord will run to Him like a prodigal son: confessing, trusting ,and abiding. WE all need to realize how much our heavenly Father loves us, he is the Father in the parable of the prodigle son who waits for us to turn to him when we mess up and confess it to him He is their to throw his arms around us and say welcome home my child I love you.
3. In Jer51:38 gur is translated whelp. A whelp is still an abider-Ezek 19:2 lingering near its mother for its nourishment."Man can not live seperated from God. With out God we are nothing: I know what my life was before Jesus got a hold of me and changed me from the inside out and praise the Lord he is still working on me. With out God we truly dont understand the real meaning of love and peace. You and I need to stay close to the Father we need to be committed to Him and his word abiding in the vine getting our nourishment just like the whelp is nourished by its mother we are nourished by the Word of God: Have a Blessed and Healthy Day in Jesus: From Pastor Ken

Abide
In Psalms 15:1 we find these words"Lord who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? Notice David has put two questions before the Lord. Lets take a look at one of the words in the first question. The word abide it comes from the Hebrew word gur. And it has several significations. I would like to share a couple of them with you this morning.
1.Is to turn aside from ones own way to some other person or place with the idea of lodging there. The happiest person in this world or the next is he who turns from his own way and abides in Him who is"the Way."
Did not Jesus say in John 14:6" Iam the way, the truth and the life: To truly come to know Jesus in this light we must learn to abide in the Word and see Jesus in every portion of it from Genesis to Revelation. I like the thought of lodging in the Word taking up residence in the Word to the point that all your thoughts are on the Word and it becomes so ingrafted in us that we radiate with the light of the Word. Jesus said in the 15th chapter of John that He is the vine and we are the branches to be a branch you have to abide in the vine. In verse three of that chapter Jesus tells us how to keep clean He says "Now ye are clean through the WORD I have spoken unto you. Every time we pick up the WORD of GOD it is Jesus speaking to us of the will and purpose of the Father through the Holy Spirit.Another siginificance of the Word abide is this:Is to live as a guest. Most people like to be guests. Think about this the preccious prospect, precious reality, that of being a guest of the Lord and being under His care and protection. When I read this my thought immediatly went to Psalms 91:1"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.Listen to this verse from the amplified translation" He Who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty[whose power no foe can with stand]. Think about what a place to lodge or abide in. You and I have a great priviledge given to us to live in the presence of the Almighty God by becoming in grafted in the Word of God. I would like to give you one more scripture the Lord took me to when I was just looking at the WORD abide John 15:7"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Listen to this verse from the amplified translation"If you live in me[abide vitally united to ME]and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. I pray that this will bless you today as it has made me stop and think about how close do I abide in Christ My Lord. Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus. From Pastor Ken

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO COMPROMISE
Good morning and praise the Lord. This morning I was awakened by the Holy Spirit with this thought in mind.He was reminding me of the story in the book of Daniel about the fiery furnace and three Hebrew boys that would not compromise no matter what. We live in a time the bible calls perilous times 2 Timothy3:2. Its a time when compromise is running rampent in all the earth. However we as christians can not compromise our convictions. The three servents of God in the story of Daniel were faced with a decision that could cost them thier lives. They were men of great conviction when it came to the service to their God. They chose to be true to their God and they were cast into a firey furnace that should have detroyed them but it didn't touch them. The story says a fourth man showed up in the furnace with them. This fourth man was the Son of God. You and I are faced everyday with decision that may cause us to comprimise what we know is right. As the spirit was talking to me this morning he was showing me some areas where we as human beings have the biggest challenge for compromise its with family members and most of all with our children. Lets think for a moment how many times we may of compromised with our children for example lets think about when they wanted something you knew it wasn't good for them but rather then get into an argument with them you gave in and let them do what they wanted. What about ourselves we were faced with a decision that could challenge our godly convictions and we new what we should be doing but we ignored the promptings of the Holy Spirit and went and did what our flesh wanted. Then when the problems started coming at us as a result of compromise who did we blame not ourselves but God got the blame. Its time for us as christians to take a long look at our life in Christ and ask the question are we truly committed to him so that there will be no compromise in our life. Compromise is very costly. I would challenge you and I to read Daniel Chapter three and 2 Timothy Chapter three. And ask the Holy Spirit to show us the areas of comprimise in our lives. The time for standing for our Godly convictions is right now as we see are world going into the perilous times as written in 2 Timothy Chapter three. Its time to stand for the truth no matter what the cost. I have just shared with you what the Holy Spirit was speaking to my heart this morning I pray that you will be blessed by it. HAVE A MERRY HEART
Proverbs15:15"All the days of the afflicted are evil:but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.A continual feast of what? Its the feast of peace that place where we know that no matter whats going on around us we see God in control. I like the amplified translation of this verse listen to the "All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil[ by anxiuos thoughts and forebodings[,but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast[regardless of the circumstances]. A person who walks with a merry heart is one that just does not let the things around him steal his joy and becuase of it they are always taken care of by the Lord. Here are some thoughts that I believe makes a merry heart.
1. A peaceful Heart: A heart at peace with God
2. A joyful heart: A heart that rejoices at the presence of God.
3. A positive heart: A heart that follows the truth of God.
4. A sinless heart: A heart that shuns evil
5. A humble heart: A heart that will stay true to the will of God no matter how much pressure is being apllied by the enemy to turn the other way.
6. A repentant heart: A heart that will turn to God and say forgive me Father for I have sinned against you. When we can walk in that kind of joy with God we can truly shout this next pasage of scripture Proverbs17:22"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine;but a broken spirit drieth up the bones. Lets open are hearts up to the joy of the Lord this Easter season and rejoice in the peace that Jesus gained for us thruogh his victory over death on our behalf.Listen to this Proverbs from the amplified translation: Prov.12:25"Anxiety in a mans heart weighs it down, but an encouraging word makes it glad. When things are coming at us thats the time we need to encourage ourselves in God start speaking the word of God to our selves and watch the joy of the Lord begin to a rise in our heart and the presure starts to leave pretty soon we dont even remember what we were all stressed out about.Have a Happy Easter and be Merry in The Lord.
May the Lord Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing on you that there wont be room enough for you to contain. From Pastor Ken

USE WHAT YOU HAVE
A few years ago I was meditating on this passage of the Word of God found in 2 Timothy 3:14" But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of,knowing of whom thou hast learned them. Upon reading this sripture I begin to think about the term focus.I wrote these words in my jornal. One must focus on on Jesus and all that he has already revealed to him or her for Satan loves to send distractions. His job is to distract us and try to draw us away the things of God.In Mark 4:19 Jesuss warns us about the distractions of this age."And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in,choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. I dont remember where I heard what Iam about to share with you but whoever the speaker was this really stuck with me.During I believe the gulf war the scud missiles were used. The speaker used the word scud in this manner. He set it up like this. What does scud stand for.
SCUD:"Satan Continuasly Uses Distractions.
These were some of the thoughts that the Holy Spirit revealed to me on how Satan uses certain things to distract us.
Have You Noticed That You Dont Have Any Money
Have You Noticed That Your body Is In Pain.
Have You Heard All The Ugly Things People Are Saying About You. And I sure that you can probably relate to some of these. The thing is we have the power with in to over come these attacks. Notice the scripture text said Continue there in the things thou hast learned,in other words hold fast to what you have been given and God has worked with it on your behalf time and time again. For example when it comes to not having enough money you and I must remember that God is our source and not man.God says in his word that he will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory. When Satan tries to distract us by the lack in our life we need to tell him thats alright my Father has it covered. What causes defeat? Its not the lack of revelation, its failing to do what you already know. So when you and I reach a hard place we must stay focused on the Word we already have and stand on it. You nad I have been given authority over the enemy. Listen to the words of Jesus from Luke10:19"Behold I(Jesus)give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Who did Jesus give power to its says you and I.You and I have everything it takes to be a winner its the presence of the living God on the inside of us. You and I are part of Gods end time army and he has given us the Word of God to fight the enemy with. Satan wont stop trying to distract us,but we must not look or listen to those distractions. WE HAVE THE POWER TO OVERCOME.WE MUST SPEAK THE WORD WE HAVE!!!! Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus Name. From Pastor Ken
