USE WHAT YOU HAVE

A few years ago I was meditating on this passage of the Word of God found in 2 Timothy 3:14" But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of,knowing of whom thou hast learned them. Upon reading this sripture I begin to think about the term focus.I wrote these words in my jornal. One must focus on on Jesus and all that he has already revealed to him or her for Satan loves to send distractions. His job is to distract us and try to draw us away the things of God.In Mark 4:19 Jesuss warns us about the distractions of this age."And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in,choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. I dont remember where I heard what Iam about to share with you but whoever the speaker was this really stuck with me.During I believe the gulf war the scud missiles were used. The speaker used the word scud in this manner. He set it up like this. What does scud stand for.
SCUD:"Satan Continuasly Uses Distractions.
These were some of the thoughts that the Holy Spirit revealed to me on how Satan uses certain things to distract us.
Have You Noticed That You Dont Have Any Money
Have You Noticed That Your body Is In Pain.
Have You Heard All The Ugly Things People Are Saying About You. And I sure that you can probably relate to some of these. The thing is we have the power with in to over come these attacks. Notice the scripture text said Continue there in the things thou hast learned,in other words hold fast to what you have been given and God has worked with it on your behalf time and time again. For example when it comes to not having enough money you and I must remember that God is our source and not man.God says in his word that he will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory.When Satan tries to distract us by the lack in our life we need to tell him thats alright my Father has it covered. What causes defeat? Its not the lack of revelation,its failing to do what you already know. So when you and I reach a hard place we must stay focused on the Word we already have and stand on it. You nad I have been given authority over the enemy. Listen to the words of Jesus from Luke10:19"Behold I(Jesus)give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Who did Jesus give power to its says you and I.You and I have everything it takes to be a winner its the presence of the living God on the inside of us. You and I are part of Gods end time army and he has given us the Word of God to fight the enemy with. Satan wont stop trying to distract us,but we must not look or listen to those distractions. WE HAVE THE POWER TO OVERCOME.WE MUST SPEAK THE WORD WE HAVE!!!! Have a Blessed and Healthy Day In Jesus Name. From Pastor Ken
